In the interest of supporting migration efforts, I'll move my thread over here. Some years ago, I rewrote Clanbook: Cappadocian because I wanted something that offered more focus on how the Clan worked instead of just page and page of information on Cappadocius, Augustus, Caias, Lazarus, Japheth and Constanica.
The original Clanbook's history section read like a short story about the Antediluvian and his plans, not like an expansion and cultural discussion of the Clan itself. Even more recently, with all the revival of interest that Open Development for DAV20 has created, I got to realizing that the existing history for the Cappadocians is just as flawed. So, now I'm re-writing Clanbook: Cappadocian Revised.Currently all three chapters are in outline form,. I welcome comments, suggestions and critiques. In fact, I really hope to get some, so I have outside points of view and I know if I'm getting too crazy for school, or if what I think is useful, playable information is really just more of the same plot-heavy crap I'm trying to remove.It is my stated intent to disregard most of the existing information regarding Cappadocian history, since I find almost all of it to be incredibly flawed.

I want to write Cappdocius and the Methuselahs out of the book and focus on the Clan as a viable, playable part of the setting with a history and culture distinct from the metaplot. I want more mystery, less fact about what Methuselah did this and why this Antediluvian scheme is happening.
