Could someone help me out on ZTE Axom M firmware. It’s an AT&T branded phone I bought from Amazon, but it unfortunately doesn’t work with my networks in Ghana.I bought the phone (Axon M) from Amazon which according to them was unlocked, yet when I used it in Ghana, the network signal doesn’t work. I immediately contacted At&T for directions and they gave me the unlocked key. AT&T through their email directed me to switch the phone off and put in a new SIM card and I would be asked of the unlocked key. I duly followed the directions, the PROBLEM, however, is that, the option to enter the unlocked key doesn’t even come. Any efforts to unlock it proved futile, what should I do then?Any help please? Root it with the ‘androidroot’ one click rooting file. Follow instructions (dont worry about errors, it still worked for me)2. Connect your phone with usb debugging turned ON (let it install drivers)3. Unzip clockworkmod.zip and copy the folder ‘clockworkmod’ to the root of the SD card you want to use.
(it is almost 600mb of space make sure you have enough space first)4. Unzip z740cwmtch and open the file ‘installz740cwmtch.bat’ (follow on screen instructions)5. Once clockwork mod boots up select backup/restore then backup from sdcard or sdcard1 for external if you put it there6. It will show you the 1970. Folder and select it then it will restore the stock recovery to the phone.7. Once it is finished reboot phone and do a factory reset from the settings menu.Done!#2Nov 6, 2014. If you check closely you’ll notice the first comments regarding the firmware for Maven 2 were replied.Right now, instead of replying every comment regarding the device firmware about its unavailability at this time, I focus and basically try to make the firmware available asap.No one (comment) is ignored here. If your comment is not replied, know that instead of telling you the file is not yet available, I work towards getting it. Additionally, there are too many comments and requests to attend. Did you try a master reset of the ZTE Z667t? First find instructions to save your data by Googling.
Then try Settings, Backup & reset, Factory data reset.I bought one used and it seems wiped clean. Did the previous owner reset it to the OEM rom using such a Factory reset? But mine is scuff free, and came with no charger. So possible the previous owner bought it and then put it in a drawer with no OTA updates. The Build Number when I received it is Z667TV1.0.0B08No earlier rom version is listed at support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-27891My problem is I don’t know how to stop updating of the OEM rom I’ve got.
