Graduates of BTC find top jobs in a variety of healthcare settings, including acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, skilled home care, hospice, clinics, day-surgery centers, schools, and public health.Many of the Nursing Program graduates go on to complete their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
The DTA/MRP degree that BTC offers allows graduates to seamlessly transfer to WA State RN-BSN programs. A BTC Associate Degree in Nursing is the first step on a path to further career advancement towards a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a doctoral degree.

This program is designed to launch your career in Practical Nursing and meets the rigorous standards for accreditation by the Accreditation Committee for Education in Nursing (A.C.E.N.). The part-time, 60-week program was developed to accommodate nontraditional students who are balancing additional commitments to family and work.
Meeting the requirements of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing, the program offers comprehensive, student-centered instruction in the care of diverse clients in structured health care settings with a concentration on caring for the older adult. Health care trends and issues, the newest technologies, and community nursing needs are also addressed. Upon completion of this program, you will be prepared to take the National Council Licensing Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) and begin your career in the health care industry.
